From Talitha:
Hello Friends.
I want to say that I am so blessed to have all of you as friends.
Please pray hard that I will not forget anything when I pack. Also if you could pray that I will have patience when I pack. Packing for long trips has always been hard. And I need the Lord's grace and mercy as I pack. Thank you for all your prayers. They are appreciated.
God bless you!
May Jesus Christ's name be hallowed now and forever more!

Talitha,
Now that I know there is a blog guess who will be checking in on Monday.... your brothers and sisters here at Hope Academy.
Don't forget to NOT peek ahead in your journal! There are some pretty exciting verses and prayers that let you know we will be thinking about you, standing with you (like Moses with his big arms!) and looking forward to hearing about ALL that God did for His glory! Blessings! Miss Ward
ps. I love the picture with you and your mom.... that red looks soooo familiar! =0)
Hey Talitha, I've been packing for overseas trips for over twenty years and I still find it difficult. Just want you to know that-- some people seem more gifted than others at packing! I always need and always find mercy and grace from God to get through it... Sometimes, when I've forgotten something, I learn that it wasn't really important anyway. I hope you won't forget anything that matters a lot to you, and if you do, I pray that it won't end up being serious!
Blessings as you pack!
Thanks for 'bringing us along' on your journey through this blog. We will eagerly anticipate new postings when you get to Africa, blessings to you two as you get pack and get all prayed up before you head out on Friday. LOVE the photo of the two of you!

Talitha, Mr Tabbut and I are praying for you. We are so excited that we can journey with you through your blog.
Blessings to you and your mom,

Talitha,
If I were in your room right now I'd sit on your suitcases for you. Whenever I have to pack for a trip I go to the Goodwill and get most of the clothes I need. Then I just give them away and don't have to haul everything back home again. I did that in England and one Oxfam shop was very happy to get a sweatshirt from an American University. I like trying to come home with less than I brought over.
I'll be praying for you and your mom.
Love,
Miss Carol

Same here!
In England, I also went to a Oxfam. I loved to get cheap cute little things there. I also gave things away and I am planning to this trip.
Blessings,
Talitha
Talitha, As you pack and make plans, could you pause a little and write more about what you feel God wants to do in and through you while in Kenya? Thanks! faith J
